Many readers were requesting an idea about the area that these characters exist in and travel through, so I made a quick map of the area.

I hope the reference is helpful.

Happy Halloween, everyone! What are you dressing up as this year? I plan to go as Dr Evil from the Austin Powers movie (although I'm not chubby, and I lack a lazy eye - but I am bald!). I'm throwing a Halloween Party complete with a costume contest, so we'll see how that goes!

Enjoy your holiday!

CoyoteLongshot: Yeah, it's a pretty poor map. A more detailed and expanded map will become available later down the road, and it will be digital (so the "you are here" will make a little more sense).

patrickdevine: Thanks, buddy!

Midge: The Valley is a very important part of the overall story, which is explained even further in the two prequels: The Legend of Abraham and Bushido. However, you'll get a nice solid taste of why it's important.

Fitz: It is a crappy map that he has, I'll give you that. I could make up some excuse for how Julian bought it to help out some family that showed that they were very religious (because that's something that Julian would do), and how the map was a POS, but the truth is that I was just too lazy to name the locations. They will get names later on, but the only important location right now is their ultimate goal: Capital City.

kyupol: I'm sorry to hear that you're working tonight. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!

The countdown begins tomorrow. The countdown is something that I do every year around this time, and it's fun to see if people can figure out what I'm counting down to, or if they can remember it from year to year.

makes it a little clearer now.

I'm not dressing up. I'm working in the night shift.

Hm... Some names on the places would be nice, too. As long as they don't contain the letters L and V... *shudders*
As for Halloween... We don't even celebrate it here, officially. If we were, I'd go as the green zombie boy:

Holy shit, my girlfriend LOVES Spike from Buffy. Like, in an unhealthy way.

I threw two parties over the weekend and dressed up as a Chinese monk the first night (I'm not Chinese or asian, but I have a pretty nice silk coat), and then as a sailor - or "seaman" if you prefer ;) - and tonight I'm going to see the flick Saw 4 with the lady.

Oooh they have a plan. I'm loving the progression of this story man. Really good job. And Happy Halloween mate!

Oh and to answer your question I'll probably be Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer... as usual.
