Scorpious: You picked a good time to come into the story then, as the final mysteries are about to be revealed. Also, your avatar name is bad ass - Farscape is my favorite sci-fi series of all time!
Janen: SNES had some of the best RPG games ever, hands down! Secret of Evermore, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy IV, etc. Great stuff!
kyupol: That could be funny. If I built up a huge fight, but all he does is slip out the back and lay some explosives and run away. "Alright, now that we're done with that, what do we do next?" asks the swordsman. "Pub?" suggests Seymour. "Pub it is," agrees Marielle!
amanda: It was a second little toe on his left foot, but you were close. ;)
GTLB: It's a few pages off, but don't worry - you'll find out. I think I laid out the groundwork pretty obviously, but let me know if it actually does come as a shock. Because that would be a pleasant surprise. It's tough to write something like this story with "twists" because I already know what the answer is - so there's no surprise for me.
ttyler: Thanks dude, glad you dig it. The shading is new to this chapter, but it may come back with later stories.
"You have a second large intestine! This is the key!" I'm guessing the sword, but I could be wrong - still, it's a better guess than a second large intestine. Medical marvels!
usedbooks: Hmmmm...you're quite perceptive. He does have something that belonged to his wife - something that she specifically told him to hold on to. Perhaps "the keys" don't have to be actual keys, but objects? Perhaps I should stop giving stuff away in my comments.... ;)
Peipei: Yeah, the bad guys are motivated by greed and cash. They're just simple thugs, when you get down to it. However, there will be some additional insights into the whole matter as this story continues, and as the prequels start coming out.
Fitz: Hmmm...a person as the key? Not a bad idea. However, there's a key piece of information that we're all missing here, which will be revealed rather quickly (and abruptly) this chapter. Something that will reveal that he's not really the one they need to activate this "portal." Unfortunately, it also leads to yet another plot hole from this story, which will be patched in the sequel.
DSNG: Thanks, glad you dig it!
JustNoPoint: Whoo-hoo! Sounds like people are reacting pretty positively to this new shading. I may have to keep it around for future pages that I do, then. :)
TheMidge28: Ah yes, a "mystical key finder" would come in handy here. However, those won't be invented in this story for another 30 years, at least. :P
Hm it crossed my mind for a second that he might actually BE the key... I know, doesn't make much sense :) Wouldn't be the first time I'm being stupid :)
The shading on this page is just BEAUTIFUL! Seriously: WOW!
Gah. So it's all about the money, eh? These keys are far too important to be selling for bids :s...Hmmmm...I have to agree with usedbooks :3 I'm kinda having a feeling it's something along those lines :s But I could be wrong xD. Gosh, now I really have to see the next update, hehehe
Delayed reaction. Didn't even hear the "master plan" since he was pondering about the number of keys. Lol. I could venture a guess, since I believe he has only one object on his person that was previously in his wife's possession... ;-)
