The last thing Roger LeFaux would ever see, was his loving wife piercing his eyes with her delicate, thin fingers. That was the deal- - to see her just one last time. Demons, as it would seem, take their deals very literally.
THIRTY YEARS LATER, Dr. LeFaux, now in his fifties and a college professor of ancient history and occult studies, is called to San Francisco by an old colleague to investigate a series of bizarre, supernatural MURDERS. At his disposal is a vast knowledge of MAGICKS and a dazzling array of occult weapons and charms. Among them are numerous CRYSTAL EYES designed to fit into his EMPTY EYE-SOCKETS, each bestowing different and strange powers.
Always at the good Doctor’s side is his faithful Graduate Assistants: EDWARD CARVER, always eager to prove himself, and CHRISTMAS DANIELS, a young woman new to this world of magic and danger, who has spent most of her troubled life searching for something she couldn’t explain... a family, a purpose. She found both in the employ of Dr. LeFaux.
Soon, the trio finds themselves swept into a world of daring escapes, monstrous VAMPIRES, murderous GHOSTS and a sinister voodoo priest, BOSSU, who seems to have a secret past tied to LeFaux.
