Desolation is of course my character in the ULW e-fed. Unlike most e-wrestlers, he doesn't have an unrealistic childhood frought with the peril of alcoholic parents, being orphaned, being beaten with whips and chains, living on the streets, being arrested and sent to Juvenile Hall, before becoming legally insane and sent to the asylum, wherein they are noticed by a mentor figure, be it an old veteran pro wrestler, or a shady individual running an underground fighting cirsuit.
*deep breath* Either way they're noticed because they're some sort of amazing stand out guy and go on to have unpecedented success in their first federation, being pushed right off the bat and winning titles immediately.
Oh and they're all supposed to be grand veterans of professional wrestling when they're only 20-22 years old.
Desolation isn't a mafia gangster, a man with supernatural powers, an action-adventure hero who has his family kidnapped on a weekly basis, with explosions occurring all around him, nor is he a whiny manwhore who orchestrates terrible things to occur to himself and the people around him in order to appear a sympathetic underdog. I'm looking at you, Mr. Cruze.
Desolation is just a guy in his mid 30's who goes out and wrestles, and takes gleeful delight in pointing out all of his opponents' idiocies.
He's a complete asshole to roleplay against, and is a complete asshole in general. :P So he's filling that role here.
