Okay, I've been anonymous long enough. Gordon is my middle name, so I didn't lie. For those of you who also read "The Gods of Arr-Kelaan", now you know how I vent my frustrations at reality when I'm not writing oddly paced fantasy stories. :)
I only used a psuedonym becuase I didn't want people to read "The Idiot" only because of the popularity of GoA. Since almost no one reads this, I figure it doesn't matter. :)

Now, about this strip:
Yesterday, Condi said we'd deal with Iran so long as they stop doing the thing we said was the reason we won't deal with them. This thing is the ONLY reason the spector of a US/Iran war has arisen, so it's a strange way to start a negotiation.
Naturally enough, Iran has turned the US down, which will be used as a reason for war in a few months when everyone forgets the exact details of this alleged olive branch.
I have decided to make Condi a character of intelligence who is frustrated by her leader. I needed a character like this because without it, I just do strange strips with people who all agree with the mad schemes that come out of the White House.
In reality, I think Condi is unsuited for her job and probably as clueless as the rest. If she becomes president (riiiight), I'll be sure to characterize her as she really is...probably an idiot.
I like Condi. How she puts up with that psycho is beyond me. I think she'd make a better president. What do you think? "Condi for 2008".
