Just read your comment on page 44, I don't think it really was much of an overreaction since shortly after(next page) she gets mad. (I figured I would comment here since drunk duck doesn't tell people about comments on other peoples comics.)
Great page, I like panel 6, plus panels 2 and 3 make a really good leap to the rest of the page and what is going on in her head with the zone in and zone out stuff.
Ha, I thought it had a different ambiance too. I was experimenting with Darkness and Contrast after scanning in the drawing (has to be that - all my initial drawings are always black, white, and gray) - I'll probably never know exactly what I did to reproduce it again :(
This page has a warm pink and blue pastel feel to it. Like the beach scene in the movie Manhunter where Will decides to go back and help the FBI catch the tooth fairy.
