i think you could have made the background much more interesting than this. and put more feeling into this page..

shes (for all we know) about to die.. and she only shes him calmly smiling.

hell, if that were me id be screaming and cryin a lot more than that. not to mention actualy memories would flash before my eyes...

This new version is good. It clears up a bit of some shadows the old one made. The prologue hints well such things which will help the reader to really enjoy the story and still doesn't tell much (at least I think so).
I must admit I were a bit surprised that you started it over again, but it was also great that you waited untill you had done the prologue before posting. That way you have showed us that it was a good thing you started over. Not that I wouldn't have minded if you had continued with the old version. However with this many pages you have proven that it was worth it to start over ^_^
