Phew, no more dreams (for now at least)just harsh reality.

We tune now to our favorite homicide detectives, Ai Yamamoto and Richard Head. They seem to be on the move to the last scene of book 4 (pages 25 - 28) and Richard seems a little too nosy about Ai's personal life...

I love these characters as well.. writing for them is fun and challenging and I hope I have captured very different voices for them..

Jason really set the mood for this scene. Another standard day, weather wise, for Seattle and the SPD

Description

What is The Emerald City about? That is hard to answer. The Emerald City is set in the city of Seattle, Washington. It is a modern day setting in a world basically the same as the one we live in now. However there are ancient secrets to discover! We start the story here as these secrets start to reveal themselves to the public eye once again. So what is The Emerald City about then? That’s still hard to answer in simple terms. First of all, Jason and I have spent and still send countless hours creating the world/universe that The Emerald City is set in. With this in mind, The Emerald City is just one story within millions that have been told throughout history. There is magic, superheroes, police work, and really lots more all wrapped up in our sprawling story. As the writer I didn’t want to make a story about one person or a group of people; instead I wanted to make a story happen and the characters react to it. When I make these characters in my mind I believe in my heart that I could write a whole series just about them. These deep characters all play their roles in our story giving a lot of different angles and perspectives. We hope that you will immersive yourself in these settings we created and enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them.
