And I'm back on schedule! Still catching up with favorites alphabetically. Now up to Starsign. I didn't intend to make the theater scene such a cameo fest but once I thought about it it was too easy to do ^_^ Cameos on this page are Ehranah from War of Winds and Cricket and Creature from... well, Cricket's Creature. Double feature movie? Or was it a cross over? Who knows :3 And there may be a few hidden relics in the credits scrolling up! I'm a sell out, I know... So, this week I was sorting out my DVD collection and came across Project Ako. I hadn't watched the DVD yet but loved it as a kid so I put it in. To my surprise I see that Ako is pretty much Fenny and Cko = Sally in a lot of ways. Heh, ah well... I still loved the OVA. So maybe the prologue had a lot of hidden Project Ako in it that I didn't realize. What else should I expect from myself as a teen making up anime stories XD About the page: Okay... leaving Sally alone may have been a bit too much. This flashback isn't over yet though. And he stole her purse too! What a jerk! >:-( Haha! I made the credits! I am so happy, that made my day! Woo! ^____^ I like the background fx you peppered the page with. Especially the squiggles on the top left part of panel 1, and the concentric circles on the bottom left of the last panel. I thought it had a nice balance, and had a watery feel to it, like a reflection in a lake, enhancing the memory... Nicely thought out. The dark colors throughout the page were good because of low light in the theatre, but I think the movie screen on panels 2 and 3 could've used a more brighter contrast. -Posted on Feb 04, 2009

Great drawing of both Cricket and Creature. Imagine their surprise when they were just waiting for the next movie to start and they're suddenly in the distant future! Also people are crying... today is not a good day. I'm in the credits too, what kind of movie was this? That was a really crappy thing for Leon to do, he could've stuck though the movie with her. Sucks to be dumped, but Sally still could have overreacted -- since there could have been an emergency or something. Given Sally's self esteem, I can't imagine her assuming anything but her own fault... for really anything and everything. I don't usually advocate drugs, but I think her mom should have gotten her on antidepressants. Lol. I discovered very striking similarities between characters I've created and ones from TV shows. (Tristan looks like Kiyone from Tenchi Universe and acts like Takagi from Detective Conan. -- And Kaida's personality has strong links to Jigen from Lupin III.) -Posted on Feb 02, 2009
