Another layout idea stole from mlai. I thought this was genius, splitting the page into columns. I tried a new method for the energy beam. I will be practicing more with energy and explosions. The next few pages will give me plenty of practice to refine my skills. I didn't get to watch any anime but I saw the newest 2 eps of House and Avatar =p Finally, a good episode of House this season. The latest one was fantastic. And I'm sad we only have 3 more small episodes of Avatar left before the big 2-part ender =( The image the grands showed Fenny from issue 3 is this scene EDIT: Oy, it would be nice of me to show the page that inspired this layout everyone is saying I did well on. Tantz Aerine: Episode 15 The bus crash episode Doctor Shadow: You should totally run over to Fight 2 and read/comment on all the pages to show your support for my cool layout ;-) Greyman: I love you. That's pretty much what I wanted her to look like. It could have used an extra scene between showing her coming off the attack plan idea, but I couldn't fit anything extra with the story flow I was wanting. Peipei: Yup, the duality really helped the scene though. * me = durr how can I make both scenes have 3 panels? albone: *Does my 'did a decent job' dance. This is the last 'epic' fight in the Prologue. I'm trying really hard to up the anti. ttyler: Thanks. I hope to keep up the pace. shaneronzio: If the layout for the next page works well it may rock more. Though the layout idea is experimental. I'm not sure exactly if it will work or not. Simultaneous actions are hard to portray. I think you did a good job with the layout. I like the way Fenny looks in the first panel. It's a very different expression (perhaps polar opposite) from the last page she was on (update before the battle scene I think). -Posted on May 16, 2008
