Been busy with life and the DD awards. I'm working webcomic time back into my schedule. I hope to have a regular schedule for everything again soon.

This is the last page of the flashback. This page was drawn right after I made the page before this one. But I just finished coloring it yesterday =p I don't care for the art. I wasn't really feeling drawing much. I am FIENDING to draw lately! I figure my art will look better for that reason on the next page even though it's been a while since I have drawn. Sometimes I draw BETTER after a break.
I'm sure all of you remember exactly what you said on last update. Anyway here are the replies finally!

Tantz Aerine: He's being treated so rough because he has been told countless times this could happen. To NOT use his speed around most people. The injury wasn't premeditated. But the act that caused it was and he knew he shouldn't do it!

Abt_Nihil: Glad you like it. The name thing was an idea I had to differentiate the father's name Rickard from the son Rikard. Maybe I should chnge it though.

I'm with Abt_Nihil on this one. An update and I didn't notice O.o? Oh well, glad to see you're trying to get back in the saddle. It's been way too long. In other news, I am almost complete with some of the writing for the first couple of issues of my story, codenamed: Training Grounds(until I can think of a better title), and I'll be posting some teasers in the next few weeks, hopefully. We'll have to catch up so I can tell you a little more. Keep on truckin', man.

Hey, you uploaded a page! And I'm kinda late in noticing it ^^; Well, I do like the page, art-wise. It's talking heads in the bottom half, but you broke up the dad's monologue nicely with the different expressions... Oh, and I totally didn't get that Rickard and Rikard were father and son ^_^

Cool page. Wahaha! Back to China who even google are afraid of!! Is this punishment or a reward? China must be the best place to eat stuff, and everything is cheap! I learned a new trick the other day about the using the vanilla straight line tool from art programs... Sometimes the lines look a little too perfect. Especially around the corners. The trick is to round the corners, to give a more realistic look. I think there's also a tool in illustrator to make lines of different weights, but that kinda goes over my head. :p

Stop quoting me! Now I have to find a ring somewhere! (Guess I'll be making a side trip to Mordor... again.) Yay for breakable superheros! ;) I never could relate to ol' Clark Kent. Never trust a person who can't feel pain. At least Daddy is being a little sympathetic to the boy. I'm sure the morphine helps the situation too. Personally, I'd love having a kid like that around! What a great excuse to move to new exotic places! See the world!

Woo hoo! Slacking off from your DD Awards managing duties, eh? Good thing, too! ;-) I like the idea behind this page (and, indeed, behind this whole sequence). It's somehow more realistic (and a lot more noble!) than Pa Kent's "[i]don't use your abilities in case someone guesses your secret[/i]" homily.
