Ms Paint Sprite comic Tutorial
In 22 Steps.

Preparations

Okay, first's things first, open up your default layout and save it as the episode number. Then expand the image and color the blank space this light blue color. For this tutorial I am going to use Episode 39 of tAoKatSAToT.

Once you have done that go and get the sprites you are going to use. Usually I have the sprites already ready to use, but if you don't, then get your sprites and resize them by holding
CTRL + W and put 200 in the top two boxes.

Some sprites aren't the background color, but this is pretty much self explanatory.

Now to get the background! Go into your background and zoom in to 2x zoom. Then select an area that is about the size of your panels, just to save space.

Copy and paste the BG in the opposite corner of your sprites, and resize to 200x the normal.

Now to get the character's color. To do this select the lightest color on the character, and then a darker color. But not too dark, I'll be using these colors for kirby.

Now get the biggest square brush on the preset brushes, and  zoom in to place the colors next to each other. repeat this for all the other characters.

Use these colors to make little tails for the boxes. follow these steps, copy and paste then use the other characters colors.
You won't use this for a while, but its best to get it out of the way.

Main Panel Selection And Sprite Placement

This ends the preparations.
Now select the first panel of your comic.

Copy and paste this on to your BG.

Now select the INSIDE of the panel box. And...

Copy and paste into the panels you need to! Now the comic is starting to look nice.

Then place the sprites onto the panels, make any necessary edits to sprites BEFORE or right when you do this.

Text Boxes

Now for the text boxes! I choose black and the light color for the character that's talking. I use small fonts size 5. It's small enough that you can save space, but not so small that the reader can hardly read it.

Type in your text,

Resize it,

Zoom in, select the 2nd line and the 1st box.

Make a box around the text that is 1 or 2 pixels from EVERY side of the text with the darker character color. I use 2, but used to use 1.

Fill in the blank spots.

Put the box on the panel, put the tail on the box, make sure it points diagonally towards the character. Repeat this for all the other boxes...

Add the title to the comic...

Add the mouths... AND...
Ba-bam! You got yourself a comic!
