I see. So really all that I needed was to get rid of the white space, nothing else really.
So I guess this Temp Test is done on my end.
Unless you want to use it for other things. For example, I can upload the poster line art in the Files here for you to download?
Ah, the space had no particular size. The width is the same as the screen size or the banner whichever was larger.
The height would have also changed to the size of the banner.
There is no limit on the size your banner could be. I accidentally uploaded one once that was not resized and filled my entire page =P
>>What are you needing the dimensions of again now?
The maximum width/height of this "former white space" so that if I make an as-big-as-possible banner, I would know the max limit for size.
I sent you a pq telling you how to remove the background.
What are you needing the dimensions of again now?
You don't have to worry about the white part appearing at all on any size banners now.
Actually, I was looking again at my current page. The white space is exactly the width of my screen. And any small banner I put into it is centered.
So, I think all I really need is for the white space to become black. You don't have to change anything else at all. Just let me know the exact dimensions of this space so my future banners can take full advantage of it if I want.
I intend to redo this banner to fit the page. My main concerns were:
-The white space.
-The white space stretched way off screen, so I was thinking "Gee I don't need it that wide."
Now, Ed's pages are 728 (including the borders), but my pages are 790 (including the borders). When I post 1 of my pages, the 728 width banner will be centered above that page, right? Don't want it off to 1 side, if u know what I mean.
I'm not done yet. I know how to rid the white bar. But resizing is an issue.
If you always want the banner to be resizes to a 728 width then it will need to also have a height standard. Otherwise the resizing will simply squish the width and the banner will look wrong.
So I can either come up with a default width (728) and height from this banner that every banner will be resized to. Or you can just resize every banner to 728 pixel width while maintaining aspect ratio.

Sure, We'll keep it around for that.

Even though it stretched itself to accomodate the taller height, it still has that white space on the bottom.

LOL I guess that banner isn't working perfectly yet.
