This cast page contains info on practically all the characters in the comic. It can and will reference events in the comics that have already occured, however, so I advise you not to read too far ahead if you don't want spoilers.
The good-natured, but semi-stupid, hero of the story. At times, he is brave; at others, he's geeking out about the heroes he's meeting. Despite Kyaro's tendency to mistreate him (occasionally), they are very close friends.
Frio's level-headed childhood friend and heroine of the story. She's a lot more rational than Frio, but when she gets into the kitchen, her exuberance shines through...in the form of horrible cooking.
Frio and Kyaro's "boss", in a manner of speaking. She was the one to discover Frio and Kyaro's abilities, and recruited them as "Narikiri Rangers". While she is the first individual to ever possess Narikiri energy, her android nature limits her abilities. Serious and straightforward (and packing a helluva punch), KOS-MOS is a capable warrior and advisor.
The brash, Ice-element Summon Spirit of Aselia. She's been bored since Yggdrasill's defeat, and was only too happy to follow Frio and Kyaro after they were shunted into the future of Aselia. She possesses Narikiri energy, siphoned from Frio, and so can exist in the physical plane for as long as she likes; this is why she is considered to be a "Narikiri Ranger" despite no formal induction.
The hero who combined the worlds of Sylvarant and Tethe'Alla into the land of Aselia. Strong, brave, and sensible, Lloyd is the man to follow when things get rough. Even when it appears like he hasn't thought something through, he (in most cases) already has, making him a pretty decent strategist.
A young half-elf with wisdom beyond his years and incredible magic-handling ability. It took him some time, but he eventually came to trust Frio and Kyaro during their stay in Aselia. However, he does his best to hide this for no discernable reason, and still questions their sanity and intelligence, Frio's especially. Ironically, despite his dislike of people with large egos, he tends to be smart-alecky and rude on occasion.
A sweet girl that has a heart full of kindess. She and Lloyd are much more fond of one another than either of them might openly admit. Her former self-sacrificial nature has been broken by her experiences as the Chosen of Mana, and she's beginning to look into ways to help the new Aselia.
Cool, calucating Raine serves as a disciplined foil to Lloyd and other impulsive characters. Despite her serious nature, she has a staunch confidence in the abilities of Lloyd and her teammates. Being a half-elf, she was the first member of the team to notice that Frio and Kyaro were infused with Narikiri energy. Her crippling aquaphobia has been somewhat reduced by the time she's spent traveling with Genis around Aselia.
Strong-willed and kind-hearted, Sheena will always try to do the right thing, regardless of rules or traditions. Her long-standing but unreciprocated crush on Lloyd eventually disappeared when Frio came to town; she likes his upbeat personality and feels much more liberated around him than with anyone else. Having interacted with Zelos for quite some time, she is fond of him, but is easily irritated by his shameless perversion.
A relentlessly charming playboy and pervert with keen observation skills and a fierce passion for anything alcoholic. He instantly takes a shine to Kyaro, being the Casanova he is, and is exceedingly polite to her. Sheena happens to be one of his best friends, but she has no patience for his lechery.
With the majority of her life having passed her by, Presea is not inclined to be very sociable. She does care dearly about her friends, however, and if needed, she will fight for them. Genis has a crush on her, but the age difference makes things...complicated, to say the least. She is accepting of his friendship, though, and does her best to keep him safe.
Next to Raine, Regal is probably the most logic-driven member of the team; they often collaborate when it comes to thinking up new strategies or plans. His constant practicing has more or less made him the member of the team best suited to combat training. He is very protective of Presea, especially since she might have been his sister-in-law, but is often reminded that she's quite capable of taking care of herself.
Cress is a devoted student of the Albane School of Swordsmanship, and it shows; he's continued the legacy of his father and has in fact built upon it. After vanquishing Dhaos, though, he's become leery about prejudging people and will usually give them the benefit of the doubt unless they give him a reason to distrst them.
Mint is a kind young woman that wielded her divine power to save the Mana Tree from withering. She's stood by Cress since the beginning of the events in Tales of Phantasia, and will do whatever she can to help him. Much like Cress, she tends to trust people implicitly due to the 'Dhaos incident'.
Chester and Cress have been buddies since forever, and it shows. Though he can be a bit gruff and unapprochable, he's actually a fairly nice guy and will always help out his friends. Unfortunately, there's a one-sided conflict between him and Frio due to his forgetfulness ensuring that Frio's butt got a few holes in it. He's awfully fond of Arche, but as noted above, he isn't very straightforward about it...
Devious, insane, and most definitely angry, the twisted half-elf Yggdrasill once ruled the world though the Church of Martel. Lloyd and crew disposed of him, however, and as a result, he is rather displeased (read: extremely pissed off). Now, having arisen from the pits of hell themselves, he seeks to meet his own goals at last...or at least he was, until he was beaten by Lloyd's crew again, with assistance from Frio and Kyaro. Frustrated beyond all belief, he has jumped 4000 years into Aselia's future, prompting Frio, Kyaro, and Celsius to follow him.
A cocky, sarcastic, and slightly annoying spirit, freed from the Book of the Dead in Sybak's library through Yggdrasill's power in exchange for serving as a servant to the power-wielding tyrant. He now aids Yggdrasill in meeting his goals, but whether he has desires of his own is largely unknown.
The foe of the Phantasian Aselians, Dhaos was attempting to harvest the power of mana to save his homeworld of Derris-Kharlan, the same world set into space at the end of Tales of Symphonia; however, he was stopped by the Phantasian heroes. He met with Yggdrasill while they were both 'dead', and has been resummoned to the mortal plane by Yggdrasill to further his pans.
