Ten no Ken: Sword of Heaven is a fantasy action samurai noir manga devised by a demented ferret with too much free time.
The story thus far: Disc 1

• Track 1: First Run
  Enter the renegade ronin, Hotaru Myoujou, a former samurai of questionable morals in search of the legendary artifact known as the Power Drive. In this premier chapter, we are introduced to our protagonist and his typical method of solving problems.
• Track 2: Sound of a Flute
  After getting a few post-murder drinks, Hotaru decides to hit the hay at the local inn, where he soon makes the acquaintance of a cheap floozy. His respite doesn't last long, though, when he's woken up by the mysterious sound of a flute playing in the distance. Hotaru traces the sound to a masked man who delivers a prophecy before vanishing in the night.
• Track 3: Snake Eater
  Hotaru's quest for cash gives him the idea to try his hand at a mugging. However, he picks a fight with the wrong man, and the ensuing fistfight grabs the attention of the dangerous Lobo force.
• Track 4: Blue Water Blue Sky
  In an attempt to escape the Lobo, Hotaru takes to the sea, where he meets a duo of nautical combatants, Flotsam and Jetsam. The Lobo track Hotaru down, and he attempts to swim to a nearby island while Flotsam and Jetsam attempt to hold back his pursuers.
• Track 5: My Friend of Misery
  The relentless Lobo follow Hotaru to the secluded Crescent Moon Isle, and escape seems impossible. As a last resort, he decides to fight, but Hotaru has bigger problems to worry about when a former ally, Komadori Ken'nyo, turns traitor and attacks. After a last-minute change of heart, Komadori joins forces with Hotaru and company, and accompanies them to the docks of the nearby continental country of Lihai. Some violent interrogation at the port allows Hotaru to learn that the Power Drive may be nearby, and he sets out to tear it from the grasp of its supposed keeper: the Emperor of Lihai.
• Track 6: Blood and Thunder
  Hotaru and Komadori separate from Flotsam and Jetsam in the night and visit a bar before they head out. A man in a leather jacket meets them therein, and offers a sampling of the local alcohol- although his true motivations are far from friendly.
• Track 7: Transcendence
  While Flotsam and Jetsam are on the move, trying to find Hotaru and Komadori, the latter duo concoct a plan to infiltrate the Imperial City and assassinate the emperor. Unbeknownst to them, though, the emperor has plans of his own.
• Track 8: Insecticide
  Stowing away on a boat down the river to the Imperial City, Hotaru accidentally attracts the attention of an assassin- one hired by the emperor himself to exterminate Hotaru and Komadori. Unfortunately, he turns out to be much more deadly than he first seems.
