Never say never, I guess. Originally in this comment box I was joking about taking a hiatus at this point just to see if anyone would object over being left hanging.
Irony is ferocious isn't it? As it so happens I find that changes in my personal life do compel me to take an extended break from cartooning after all. I honestly do not know when I can return to this strip. For anyone wondering, yes the Head-Man does recover from the spike through his skull, and does so in a mildly amusing manner.
I hope to return to production in a couple of weeks, but I cannot guarantee that. To the fans of Superior Beings, thank you for following these weird events. To my DD friends, I thank you for being my friends and I wish that I did not have to bid you goodbye.
Those are some good observations flyingwind66. I don't know what I would do in a similar situation, but I think I'd be much unhappier about things than the Head-Man seems to be.
I read this and I laugh but at the same time I'm horrified... to have your brain preserved and run a system and unable to die... if that happened to me I'd probably do all in my power to blow up the system... and if I was the head in a jar and learned I was only a copy... well I'd demand to be destroyed...
Well thanks for that Harry. The problem is probably at my end though, because other than making certain that I update at least once per week I have no set day or time. That's not the way to build any sort of fan base, of course; but that's how this is working out for me!
