Cool concept. I used to have an idea of using a doll too. But I abandoned it because people kept saying I ripped it off some character or something. But that's in the past. So yeah. COOL CONCEPT IS COOL. Don't stop it just yet ^^)v
No We have not abandoned StS. it's just been a pain to find the time to work on it. We work 7 days a week. from 5am to 10:30Pm. we just got our scanner back in working order. so stay tuned.

I think this is a good idea. You should experiment with some different fonts, and maybe some creepy photoshop brushes. There's a lot you can do to beef up a page as long as what you're starting with is good, and your toy drawings are actually pretty tight.
