Horribly late to the party (I thought - and wept - that ther'd be no more Shades pages), but a long-overdue CONGRATULATIONS on your awards from "Institute Of Inebriate Water Fowls" - you nearly split both my sides with that one!!! ;o) Five awards seem trivial for something of Shades' quality, but hey, who would refuse being awarded for doing a fantastic job!!! Congrats again, go murder a pint, you've earned it ;o)

Wow so it's over now? It ended so happily and neatly! I really got a feel for the characters and was holding my breath for everyone at the end. There were a LOT of characters, but everyone had a distinctive personality and their fates were all tied together. It was great! Looking forward to more from you in the future!!

Abt: What do you mean "as if"?! ;-) Terzle: Thanks! I must admit I prefer stories with a proper ending too (which, I guess, is why I wrote Shades that way!) And don't worry, any news on future developments with Shades and/or new projects will definitely be flagged up here!

DarkVisor: Not sure about the next project. A few medium- to long-term possibilities are bubbling beneath the surface (quite a long way beneath!) but we'll see. I was interested to learn you found your way here via a spot the difference game. We have two out there: the first one (just called [b]Shades[/b]) uses on the sequence with [url=http://differencegames.com/index.php?cmd=viewgame&gameid=65]Becky in the Spirit World[/url]; the second one (called [b]Boudicca[/b] is from [url=http://differencegames.com/index.php?cmd=viewgame&gameid=79]Boo's confrontation with Dominion[/url]. You so deserved this ... as someone who only found Shades just before the end I had a very happy time reading it mostly in one sitting with just a few weeks until the finale. It was a great story and I am sad it is over, although I do prefer tales with a beginning and an end. I hope you enjoy your well-deserved break and I look forward to your next endeavour. Just please post a link here so we can find it *winks*
