Hmm that's actually not a bad idea. We made that one three years ago when we gave up short notice. It was our last comic until we decided to try again, kind of a "fuck it, were done" comic. We've really only just been getting back into things but I think we can do a few cool things with that.

While I am thrilled about being featured, I will agree that I do not think we quite deserve to be, yet. I love working on this comic and I think we have several gems, but we have not even begun to scratch the surface about what these characters really stand for and how we want to portray them. Originally, Satan was going to be a character only the Pope could see and act as his kind of 'moral compass', but that organically ceased to be the case and he became just another character. There are many more instances like this we are still working out. This concept is something we both love, but I at least feel it is something we are still developing and figuring out. Also, we are just really getting back into this after quite a long break, so getting our heads back into these characters (at least for me) has been somewhat of a challenge. But thank you so much for reading and I am thrilled we are featured. I hope we keep making you cringe and laugh at the same time!

It's a different sort of work and has some racy humour, very, very close to the edge, but as I saw it things never went over: The pope guy is racist, but is portrayed as an idiot, not some sort of hero for being that way. Because he's always shown to be unlikable and vile when he does vile things. Anyway, I've always supported variety of style, theme, genre and the rest of it for features. And levels of content from extremely family friendly, gentle stuff, to more nasty almost-adult content.

Response to Lemniskate- Ya it's different, but comics are a very large medium. In our case we wanted to create a character that was so vile that it would allow taboo themes to be taken lightly giving us some cheap laughs that normally we would feel guilty about. Luckily for us we created a few comics that actually succeed in doing this. I laugh my ass off whenever I see the Popes character burn a sales man, drown an infant, or confuse AIDS with werewolfs. It may not be your thing but variety is good. To be clear we do aim to be offensive but that doesn't lessen the quality of the work. The style of the illustrations, the writing, and the layout is exactly what we want to stick with for the humor we are trying to convey.

I'm sure she'll find a nice man someday who thinks armpit fur is sexy.

This shouldn't be a featured comic.

Actually when I could take a peek and one interested me to share I gave it to friends.
Congratulations on the feature now to get more booze inside the pope car.
