LET THE ADVENTURES BEGIN !

The last year has been a very dark year for me. It had far too many downs and not nearly enough up's. At times i thought it was going to really break me,but i held on and managed to some how scrape and claw my way through it all. A lot of us have had it bad this year. With that in mind i am going to tell you all a short story. After i posted yesteday's page i went out with my girlfriend and she wanted to stop by the local goodwill store. While she was shopping i strolled around the store doing a whole lot of nothing till i went back to where they have the toys. For those of you who have never been to a goodwill store the toys there are truely an island of misfit toys. As i looked at the mess that is the toy section i spotted something, it was a ten inch tall bruce timm animated superman action figure standing tall in the pile of toys. he was dirty and nicked up by having tons of toys dumped on him. It was a sign! It was only a few hours after i posted about having seen the superman movie as a kid. Long story short, superman now stands tall not ten inches from my hand as i type, freshly cleaned and looking bright ! The both of us ready to let the adventure begin again and embrace the new year with hope.
