Characters

Lia Lia Whitten - a girl who dreams of being a pirate. Doesn't stand up for herself. Behaves irrationally with pointy objects.
Daisy Daisy Rodaker - Lia's roommate. Recently revealed to be a victim of a partially foiled memory-erase-ritual-sacrifice scheme. Believes deeply in the restorative power of toaster waffles.
Brio Brio Lonnigan - Daisy's significant other. Not a romantic. A bit of a doofus, but good-hearted nonetheless. Feels threatened by Cade and Daisy's past.
Jane Jane Elder - a friend of Lia's from work. Daughter of a wealthy and influential history buff.
Wesley Wesley Schroeder - background uncertain; self-proclaimed rescuer of damsels in distress.
Cade Cade Brigant - a member of Clan Grey Flame. Knew Daisy many years ago. Pretty much a bad-ass. Has a sarcastic streak and comes across as arrogant.
Emeline Emeline Rodaker - Daisy's adoptive mother. A member of Grey Flame charged with protecting Daisy.
Walter Walter Travon - Lia's neighbor. Creepy and lecherous.
