It's finally here, ladies and gentlemen! The moment all of you loyal and patient readers of Retake have been waiting for, as well as a brand new day for new readers - the launch of 'Relik' is officially underway! And it's the confrontation all 'Retake' readers have been waiting for - Relik vs. Killerton and Coldcut! *fanfares galore*

...Ahem, anyway, to be more serious for a moment, Relik is the start of the titular hero's ongoing adventures, following roughly 2-3 weeks on from the events of 'Retake'. And although the latter is more or less the origins story of Relik, it is not absolutely necessary for new readers to read through its five-issue story to get into Relik - past events that occurred in 'Retake' will be mentioned, but they'll also be accompanied by a historical caption stating the issue in question for those that would want to go back and see for themselves. Other than that, 'Relik' can be treated as a brand-new starting point for readers old and new!

You can expect all the punchtastic action of the last story, as well as more in-depth plots that will take you in directions you may not have imagined! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying writing it.

For this first issue we have a guest artist whilst the original takes a break to get used to being a first-time father! Congrats again to Dan, and welcome aboard to Luke Barker, aka Nepath!
