Woot woot! The fight's begun. And Vincent is pulling off some new moves! George helps Vincent get his weapons, so that way it's a fair fight it seems? With those high jumps, and high speed flips, will Vincent even simply take a hit?
Roxim and the others is off screen, watching, but they aren't saying anything. I didn't add them in because it would have made the page bigger, and another 3 hours for me to uselessly put them there. As for Kato, his corpse would have gotten in the way of my sprites. So he's removed from the comic permanetly (perhaps). Though he may be brought up in text.
I honestly didn't like him since comic #2. XD
I also had fun with the blur effects. (Deem that I had to do it twice... So I had to make it close to the original as possible, which I honestly see no difference)
I decided to add little action subtitles, like *Jump* *Bam* *Land* So that way it may be less confusing, as it may in my future comics, due to the lack of sprites. Hell, I had a hard time trying to find a grabbing sprite for a Swordie, so I had to subsitute with the subtitles and the blur effects. >.>
Which means, if anyone is good at editing sprites, I need you soon. You don't have to shrink sprites or anything, but I just need better sprites that do more then just slash downwards, and simply walk. The most I am in need for is: Catching, blocking, jumping *forwards* and running for some classes.
Actually. The reason I haven't posted a comic, is because, yes, stress, not too much fun. And I also have a new computer. Which means, I no longer have my sprite sheets. Which means I have to edit all my sheets again. But I have to get them still first. Hadn't had time. My program sucks, it's not even Paint. o_O I have to get Adobe again. Which sucks, cause I don't got it. I'm gonna have to crack it... It's not easy to crack when I barely know my own machine.
5 Birthdays semi in a row is not easy to prepare for. Especilly when you got no money. So I had to keep myself occupied like that. ANd more are still coming.
At that, I've been having problems with inside life. And school starts tomorrow.
Besides all that, I been so tired, I've just been sleeping in. Hell, Half the time I'm up for 8 hours, and I slept for nearly 16 hours for 12 nights in a row.
anyways, George showed up out of nowhere, Kato got shot by Firelocks(Good god, he really sucks at fighting if those things killed him), and Vincent is about to beat the crap out of the said Firelocks.
In the name of meaningless battle, I salute thy efforts!
I tried to set the Camera so you don't see the end of the walls, as if there was suppose to be no roof there. Plus, it's Amatsu, a building, unless you wanted the Camera position so half the screen would be facing a wall. Blame Gravity for the camera positioning, I did my best. And if I tilted it any other way, it would be hard to place the sprites correctly, and I don't want to do a lot of Camera angel switching back and fourth, it's very confusing.
The white speck was from the bullet hitting the wall from panel 4. In panel 5, a bullet was shot, which there was a slightly bigger speck in panel 6.
And I haven't quite cared for the sprite sizes. Ragnarok is 2D people in a 3D world, you're not suppose to tilt the camera super far down that you can see a mile away as far as I am told. So it's reasonable it'd look screwy all the time. Though I admit by over 5 years now, they should have really fixed the size problem by now. Considering the fact you can go overhead enough that the sprites turn into wierd little poles when you zoom in. o.o
Also, if you really read my previous comments on this page, I never said anything about your sprites. I have a few opinions on them, but I'm keeping them to myself.
Haha, you misunderstand. I did read the comic. Several times. Most of my comments here might seem like I don't like your comic, but I do, and I DO read it.
I'm not talking about the comic, I'm talking about the camera. At some angles it looks like the floor is a wall since the sprites never change. You know how if you look at an object from up top they look like they have a shorter length? The sprites don't do that, so with some angles it looks like the floor is a wall instead of a floor.
I'm sure that SOMEONE sees that? It's always bothered me since my newb days.
Also, after reading the comic again, I just noticed that there's some white specs in the upper right corner on the 5th panel. What's that? (don't misunderstand, I just want to know if that was meant to be there for the story or not)
I learned something today :D it only allows for one rating. rate was supposed to be 2.
Why do I find it necessary to make 2 extra posts about it? because I can. until and/or unless you block me from posting. I'll try to be more careful in the future! really! They should put an edit button on comments. That would be awesome. Sorry again for the quad posting. (I could totally just not post and leave it at triple posting, but whatever. It is totally necessary to have the correct rating! to one's opinion I mean.)
You know what I always hated about RO? That no matter where your camera was positioned on the y axis, the sprites would look exactly the same.
I say that because the second time reading the last 2 pages it looked to me like they're standing on a wall.
Also, mistake on my rate for this page. I think one this might be more appropiate. (totally unrelated to the camera y axis/wall thing if you're wondering)
