EDIT: PT is obviously on hold. The comic will be returning eventually, but I'm not going to give an estimated time right now.
I'm very sorry for vanishing off the face of the earth. Life got in, and continues to get in, the way. I'll be back as soon as I can. Thank you (most of you) for your patience and understanding.

hi SK you may remember me from such other notable comments as:several on this comic some on all my other fav'd comics and one remark i meant as a joke that got me chewed out by the author (and got half of the other reviewers jumping down my throat (this was on Charby the vampirate) (but they arent anymore cuz i explainedthat it was a joke) anyhoo i just wanted to say if your having difficulty keeping up with a scedual or life prevents you from comicing for any other reason try and ask for peices of artwork from your fans (and also your fellow webcomic authors) that you can update with just as fillers so your fans have something nice to look at every now and then rather then months and months of waiting then have a few minutes of reading then settling down for another wait i am a huge fan of this comic and i understand you are a living being and that when you think you have escaped from your pile of work you get another mountain dropped on top of you (which is why my novel im working on has been on hiatus for nearly a year and a half) but still us fans are living beings too (and genrally have small attention spans when it comes to waiting) and if you dont just give us a small sign that you are alive and haven't forgotten us we will start wandering away

Even if it's just a short note from you, SK, we' the viewing public would like to know that you're at least theoretically capable of resuming this (i.e. you haven't lost fingers to a tragic accident, etc.) -- or that you've officially given up on this. Which would be a shame, because the quality of the artwork is almost unmatchable and the storyline was well-thought-out and developing nicely. "It's not the despair, I can live with the despair; it's the HOPE that's killing me"

And a quick 'in before zealot walls of text adamantly protecting the absent artist's kindness and selflessness against the ungrateful jerk' responses (scroll down for examples) remember this is Drunk Duck, "The Webcomics Community" not "The Webcomic Online Store." Of course it's free, I have one myself (not on this name) and the creators acknowledge this concept upon getting free webspace and lots of HTML freedom to draw exposure/self-promote their work, and even place paypal donation boxes amongst it. Consider this concept before hurling rage and preaching recycled DCDT (Dead Comic Defense Team) rhetoric in response to my previous post; no hurt was intended unless one chooses to percieve it that way. SK will always get a 5 from me either way, for what she DID share. I just hoped for some correspondence at this point. Ignite!

Well, I at least hope SK is alright and nothing bad has happened to her; I'd feel pretty terrible deleting this bookmark. If not, thanks for sharing part of the story, it was amazing; I guess after 4 months without a response from her is a bummer. Don't mistake me for being selfish, I acknowledge that this was all done without pay and lots of time was invested in a free comic, but we invested just as much time supporting it each step of the way. GL in your endeavors if you ever check this, you're an exceptional, gifted artist.
