I found this comic today and I'm very impressed, it's the best I have read in a long time, and I'm amazed at how fast it caught me. I love the story, the characters and the setting, it's a really original world. I hope you can find the time and inspiration to continue it someday.

"Have you died?" What kind of question is that.... if she was, I really hope you weren't expecting an answer to that... disturbing. Either way, i really hope she can find the time to let us know how she's getting on. Eagerly awaiting updates for one of the best comics to read on DD. :)

No, from what Hyptosis said, SK is alive and well, just way too busy at the moment to even post how things are for the time being. Just be patient, or not, up to you, I personally keep checking once a week or more to catch whatever updates may occur.

Does anybody out there, know the situation of Silent Kitty? No updates since May on This comic or Ethos for which she is the artist for. If she is not able to respond or desires not to, would a friend or relative or someone in the know post what they know. Though I haven't done a detailed search on the web,from a quick query, all references or activities involving SK or her real name seems to ended before May of 2008. No new projects either. Some one please reply with status.

First time poster here, been looking forward to the next update for a LONG time now, just drop a line to let us all know what's up, whether you'll be able to continue updating or not, we all just wan to know one way or another. Hope everything is alright with you. Been hooked from page one, but the lack of info is very worrisome. Hey, I haven't checked here for a long time, read up on the new pages, and now find you also don't seem to have checked back here in a while... ...drop a line to tell you're alright, okay? Just some post like "Yeah, I'm still kicking". It happened to me once before that a person I knew on the Internet dropped off the Earth without sign. And only 2 1/2 years later did I find out they had died. Of course, that person had been nearly 80, but it was still no bit less sad. The worst thing however was the uncertainty for those years. So, drop a line, will you? People here are worried, I believe. I know I am worried. :( - :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Lack of correspondence/activity (on deviantart account as well) should probably have the paypal and TWC vote button stripped off. If there was a tragedy, enough real life friends of SK's (some who have commented quite a few times in the past) would've notified us. There are plenty of excellent comics where the author doesn't vanish after promising updates far worthier of a ranking in the 100's than a dead comic that stays afloat with old achievements and repeat sympathy voters. As I remarked several weeks ago, DD is kind enough to give free webspace to contributing comics. This is no longer a contributing comic to DD. Leave it up for people to idolize if you want but remove the damn paypal and vote functions, as there's enough evidence out there that SK has something better to do than touch base with the people who supported this comic (the reason any of the DD trophies exist.) That's the issue with the internet, you can vanish and leave behind anything. For all we know her time is spent on another comic far away from DD. Bitter? Sure, it's blocking hard working comic writers from moving higher on TWC. Paypal? I honestly wonder if a response from SK would be issued if someone dropped a penny on that donation button. Let the undying SK supporters crawl out and scream at this post, maybe one will accidently say where she went in a fit of text rage. Short version: Vote button and Paypal button piss off people who expect to see what they are promised by the author, only to have six months of silence from that author who put them there. Get angry, let's see raaaaaaage. Here's a 1 for the single spot denying all the comics below this on TWC from the rank they deserve. Make a dead comic/hardly updated voting module for this kind of lackluster commitment. Too many real life friends of SK are/were regulars here for there not to be an explanation at this point. Take down the buttons DD, there is nothing beneficial yielded from them, especially on a mutual level.

hi SK you may remember me from such other notable comments as:several on this comic some on all my other fav'd comics and one remark i meant as a joke that got me chewed out by the author (and got half of the other reviewers jumping down my throat (this was on Charby the vampirate) (but they arent anymore cuz i explainedthat it was a joke) anyhoo i just wanted to say if your having difficulty keeping up with a scedual or life prevents you from comicing for any other reason try and ask for peices of artwork from your fans (and also your fellow webcomic authors) that you can update with just as fillers so your fans have something nice to look at every now and then rather then months and months of waiting then have a few minutes of reading then settling down for another wait i am a huge fan of this comic and i understand you are a living being and that when you think you have escaped from your pile of work you get another mountain dropped on top of you (which is why my novel im working on has been on hiatus for nearly a year and a half) but still us fans are living beings too (and genrally have small attention spans when it comes to waiting) and if you dont just give us a small sign that you are alive and haven't forgotten us we will start wandering away (apologies if this is posted twice cause my computer sucks and it might still be loading)
