Consider this concept before hurling rage and preaching recycled DCDT (Dead Comic Defense Team) rhetoric in response to my previous post; no hurt was intended unless one chooses to percieve it that way. SK will always get a 5 from me either way, for what she DID share. I just hoped for some correspondence at this point. If not, thanks for sharing part of the story, it was amazing; I guess after 4 months without a response from her is a bummer. I love your comic, the art,the story, everything. I hope you get to move on to greater things as your art is wonderful. This is probably the best comic I've ever seen on the net.
It's to bad you have such a busy schedule, and can't update as much as we'd like you to (and as much as you'd probably like to).

I see it happen all the time. An artist will hit a snag in their life; be it personal or job related or whatever, and you get these people that really tell the artist off for not updating. Sometimes even really laying into the artist...
It's quite frustrating.
But no it wasn't directed at you; so please don't take it that way. I was just thinking out loud really. I've seen some people say some really nasty things to different artists in the past; so I thought I'd put my two pence in as I really like this comic.

I agree with Krae. Some people seem to think that artists have all the time in the world to draw and whatnot; but we don't, we do actually have jobs; families; and a life outside of art.
This is our hobby and sometimes we need to put it on hold so we can get life's awkward-ness out of the way before we can continue with our lesuire time.
Plus; if you threaten; bitch or behave in a generally unpleasant manner towards the artist; it can actually have the reverse effect on the comic. It could actually kill the artist's desire to draw altogether because they feel as though they're being pressured into doing it; instead of actually wanting to do it...
So far I love this comic; and although I am eager to see the next page to see more fantastic artwork; and continue an interesting storyline; I am in fact waiting patiently; and I am willing to wait for the artist.
I'd rather see work from the artist that enjoyed what they did; then see something that was quickly slapped together just to shut some moany people up.
Keep up the great work silentkitty! I really hope things get back on track for you soon

For what it's worth, sorry, I'm burned out, my schedule is hectic, I haven't had time to sit down and work on any personal projects for the last two months.
Of course you guys matter. Of course I feel like a horrible person because I'm not updating. It makes me feel like I'm just spouting out excuses when I leave notes like this saying I'm busy. I'm not going to say "I'll have a page by this date", because I don't know if I can or not and I don't want to promise something that I may not be able to deliver on.

Some of us also draw for a living or work other jobs. Both of which are very tiring.
