After playing MGS4 many months ago, I came to the conlusion that the whole MGS series is just propaganda for pro smoking... So yeah this is how I came up with this idea.

I decided to do away with the "cloud" backgrounds because I don't like them much -- I was meaning to use them to represent outdoors and mottled wallpaper.
