Another coceptual sort of art/sketch
To me, the vision of the plant represents life. Much like the representation the "Tree of Life" depicts life. But I like the representation of a sapling - it could mean the begining of life and the potential of it's power. With the sun's help it could grow and become many things and bring life to many things. I guess it's that potential that intrigues me.
So for this sketch it's the sun shining through young leaves. I like the focus of one object being in color while the rest is represented in the black/white/gray scale. sort of dramatic, no? -Posted on Aug 16, 2008 |
