Honestly, what is it with all you people who just come by and trash-talk our comic without offering any god advise? There's no reason to be so negative all the time about everything.
I mean, it's just a comic that you can read for free. It's not like you're paying for it, so there's no reason to b#@^Y^ about it so much.
I think it's funny that most of the people complaining about the "racism" have made more racist comments than anything to ever appear in the comic. This thing is a mirror, people . . .
Probably because your accurate portrayals of minorities uncovers the racism within your critics. They see what a truly tolerant person ought to see in Powerup, and it frightens them.

For starters, You could try re-drawing your characters rather than using the same drawings over and over. The same "badass crossed arms" pose gets really tiring after a while.

Let's see. If you want constructive criticism, hereââ¬â¢s you constructive criticism. No swearing, honest opinions, no insulting.
The artwork lacks in quality. That's forgivable, one of my favorite comics had a terrible artist who improved over time. And who can forget Dinosaur comics? However the lack of knowledge of MSPaint to delete the lines to create the word bubbles is sloppy. CLEAN IT UP.
It's offensive. Now, stay with me, offensive can be okay. Controversy is a wonderful thing in todayââ¬â¢s world. Satire is wonderful. However it all boils down to this...
It's not funny. Everything else can be forgiven. Quality, offensive material... all of it can be forgiven if it was FUNNY. And that my friends, is the first thing you need to work on.
If the audience doesn't like your work and you care about what they think, you better figure out what youââ¬â¢re doing wrong and improve. If you're doing it for yourself, then stop caring what the audience thinks. Obviously, you reacted to criticism in such a juvenilie way, it is obvious you DO care what they think.
TLDR version: Learn how to use your electronic media to clean it up, look at your material, and if you donââ¬â¢t want to change the content, learn how to be content with doing the hobby that you enjoy.
