I'd like to apologize for not posting the extra I promised on Saturday. The show just completely took over and kicked my ass, but we had a very good opening weekend. I will most assuredly have it for you this coming Saturday.
Like I said last week.. this one was a bit rushed. Now that the show's up and running, rehearsals won't take up my weeknights so I can spend more time on comic stuff. I reused a panel, recycled a joke, and am not that happy with the second panel, but I still kinda like this strip. It could be better, but it's servicable.
On a side note, I bought some stikfas figures to help me out with poses for the Bark Hollow page. Those things are so cool. I got a spaceman, and a super hero, and a tomb raider-style chick with a panther.. and a guy on a motorcycle for the Psycho Biker comic I'm toying with. I just need to flesh out the plot a little more and I can start scripting that one. I want more. They're SO COOL.
Thursday hopefully gets the action started. I know where I'm going at this point, just not quite how I'm getting there. These next few strips will be as much a surprise to me as to you. ;)
No matter how many times you do the little arms thing, it's funny to ME. Oh, the chuckles I have at poor Beaufort's expense. On a vaguely related note, we went to a mini-golf place this weekend, and there was a t-rex over one of the holes. I thought of Beaufort first, the Thriller dance second.
