Is the map supposed to be like that? The proportions are really distorted. On a related note, you really don't need a program like Photoshop to make a good sprite comic. In fact, just using free as dishwater MS Paint is better in some ways, because of it's simplicity. You'll still need Photoshop or Paint.net (which is what I use, because it's legal freeware, and it works just as good as Photoshop for just about every application) for text bubbles and effects (like pokemon attacks), but for just laying the graphics for the comic out; copying and pasting, resizing, arranging things, MS Paint works just as good if not better. For PSSV, I use Paint for everything except the aforementioned text bubbles and attacks. It's just a lot easier to resize stuff by percentage (which is what you should be doing, to avoid distortion like you have on the map), and it's less frustrating to have more than one image (for instance, a sprite sheet and your background) open at the same time. -Posted on Apr 16, 2008
