BRENDAN! 

Age: 14

Bio: Having lived in quite a lot of places, Brendan's new home
 is located in LittleRoot Town, Hoenn. Having to get used to the
odd habits and behaviour of the Hoenn people, Brendan quickly
befriended May; and together they went on a quest, travelling
across Hoenn, collecting badges, and become a PoKeMoN
Master. His first PoKeMoN was a Treecko, which was given to
him by Prof. Birch. He is also very crafty with cardboard boxes.

Age: 15

Bio: Daughter of Prof. Birch, May used to help out her father
with fieldwork. Now instead she travels with Brendan
throughout Hoenn, competing in the PoKeMoN Battle
Tournament, and become a PoKeMoN Champion. Her
favourite PoKeMoN are those of the Fighting-type,
this is why she chose Torchic to be her starter, since they
can evolve into a Fighting/Fire-type PoKeMoN. She's very
skilled in judo and is considered a powerhouse amongst
the rest of the group.

Age: 17

Bio: Originally a resident of Orre, Peter went to Hoenn
for a relaxing vacation. Unfortunately for him, his
motorbike broke down, and so he is now trapped there.
And to make matters worse, he's not allowed to leave
Hoenn without Steven's permission. Peter lost his memory
when he was 7. His parents' whereabouts are unknown;
as such he was raised by Team Snagem instead. This
allowed him to become a very talented PoKeMoN trainer
and quite handy at stealing other people's PoKeMoN,
snagging himself a pair of Eevees on his first attempt
(one which turned into an Espeon and the other an Umbreon).
Sadly, his uncle was killed by a Shadow Scyther when
he was 15 years of age.

Age: 15 

Bio: Brendan's oldest friend from the Kanto Trio.
He stowed away on Brendan's truck, and is now competing
in the PoKeMoN League in the Hoenn region. Red sees
Brendan as his rival as he was beaten by him and hopes to
defeat him in battle someday. His first PoKeMoN was a
Bulbasaur, which was given to him by Prof. Oak.

Bio: Brendan's female friend from the Kanto Trio.
She stowed away on Brendan's truck, and is now travelling
together with Red and Gary throughout the Hoenn region.
Ashley doesn't compete in anything, but she does fight
alongside Red and Gary in triple battles. Her first
PoKeMoN was a Squirtle, which was given to her
by Prof. Oak.

Age: 13

Bio: Brendan's youngest friend from the Kanto Trio.
He stowed away on Brendan's truck, and is now competing
in the PoKeMoN League in the Hoenn region. Gary also sees
Brendan as his rival having been beaten by him and hopes
to turn the tables on him someday. His first PoKeMoN was a
Charmander, which given by his own grandfather,
Prof. Oak. Gary is also a bit of a klutz.

Age: 13

Bio: Wally's a young kid, whose self-confidence
quickly rose after catching his first PoKeMoN, Ralts.
Originally living in Petalburg City, he travelled with his
uncle to Verdanturf Town to live with him and his family
for awhile. He wishes to compete in the PoKeMoN League
someday, and with the Dynamo Badge in hand, he
has already made a small start.

Age: 15

Bio: Jerome is one of Brendan's friends from the
Johto region. He had previously travelled in his home
region before, and then decided to participate in the
PoKeMoN Battle Tournament in the Hoenn. He's a talented
PoKeMoN Trainer, but can be a bit cocky at times.

Age: 10

Bio: Bruce is the son of Bruno, the Elite Four member
of Kanto. He helped out our heroes when they were leaving
Dewford Town and is also a competitor in the PoKeMoN Battle
Tournament. Being the son of an Elite Four member seems to
give him quite some advantages in life; such as Lorelei,
another member of the Kanto Elite Four, helping him
catch a PoKeMoN used for transportation.

Age: 38 

Bio: As the father of Brendan, Norman recently became
the gym leader in Petalburg Gym. Due to budget cuts,
Norman fixes vehicles and helps new trainers catch
their first PoKeMoN for small payments in order to pay
for the gym. He's a specialist in Normal-type PoKeMoN,
and if you are able to defeat him, he'll give you a
Balance Badge.

Age: 60

Bio: As the Gym leader of Mauville City, Wattson has
the tendency to treat his students as his slaves. Due
to budget cuts, Wattson charges you for double battles
and creates his own electricity, using a combination of
students and bicycles. He's a specialist in Electric-type
PoKeMoN, and defeating him will earn you a Dynamo
Badge (for a small fee, logically).

Age: 24

Bio: After graduating from the PoKeMoN Gym
Leader Academy in Sinnoh, Roxanne is now
the gym leader of Rustboro City. Due to budget
cuts, Roxanne has also become a lawyer to help
her with any additional costs. She's a specialist in
Rock-type PoKeMoN, but if you can defeat her you'll
receive the Stone Badge. Also, she tends to
refers to herself in the third person.

Age: 28

Bio: Brawly is the gym leader of Dewford Town and
is considered to quite popular on the island. Due to
budget cuts, he has switched from electric lighting
to torches in his Gym, and runs a shop selling soft
drugs. He's a specialist in Fighting-type PoKeMoN,
and you'll obtain a Knuckle Badge if you can defeat
him. Brawly and Bruno, a member of the Elite Four
in Kanto, used to train together, so Brawly is pretty
familiar with the Bruno family, even coming with
Bruno's son (Bruce) to his first PoKeMoN Battle
Tournament.

Age:  25

Bio: Steven’s the son of the President of Devon Corp.,
a corporation that makes gadgets and also does
research relating to PoKeMoN. His mother is the
Minister of Immigration and his sister runs the
administration desk in Devon Corp. Sadly for Steven,
she rarely recognizes him and as a result, she often
kicks him out of the Corp… Steven enjoys abusing his
powers as being the son of both the President of the
Corporation and the Minister of Immigration; such as
firing employees and deciding who can stay in Hoenn
and who should go. He was once kidnapped by Team
Cipher, who turned his PoKeMoN into Shadow PoKeMoN,
but with the help of Peter, he was able to purify them.
He seemingly has some sort of interest in rocks
and caverns.

Age: 40

Bio: Prof. Birch is a famous professor in the Hoenn
region. He is the father of May, as well as friends
with Brendan’s father. He enjoys fieldwork and can
often be found outside his lab studying PoKeMoN in
the wild. Although famous, he doesn’t seem to be
smart or brave. And despite being a coward when a
wild PoKeMoN gets too close to him, they seem to
simply adore him, even if he’s completely oblivious
to their affection. His assistant, Chobin, prefers to sit
behind his computer all day playing video games,
such as “The Sims 2”, rather than doing actual
research or helping out with problems.

Bio: Also known as Mrs. Emerald, she’s the
mother of Brendan, and the wife of Norman,
the Petalburg City Gym leader. She wears
the pants in the family and prefers it if things
go her way. Unlike her son, Mrs. Emerald
seems to be enjoying migrating from one
place to another.

Age: 37

Bio: Also know as Mrs. Birch, she’s the mother
of May, and the wife of Prof. Birch. She’s not
the sharpest tool in the shed, so IQ similarities
must attract or something. She can be quite
overprotective over her family, however.

AQUA!

As an evil organisation that enjoys the seas
and oceans and a rather large group, they’ll do
anything to get what they want. Their motives
aren’t clear yet, but it seems to involve water.
They rival Team Magma and seem to be working
with Team Cipher recently. Even though every
Aqua grunt has their own PoKeMoN, most of
them seem to fancy Water-type PoKeMoN.

As an evil organisation that enjoys continents and
solid ground and a rather large group, they’ll do
anything to get what they want. Their motives
aren’t clear, but it seems to involve land.
They rival Team Aqua and seem to be working
with Team Cipher recently. Every Magma grunt
has their own special set of PoKeMoN, but Fire-type
PoKeMoN seem to be quite beloved amongst them.

CIPHER!

Originally founded in Orre, after Peter defeated Team
Cipher there they seem to have migrated to the
Hoenn region. Their plans to turn PoKeMoN into
Shadow PoKeMoN remain unchanged and they’ll do
anything to fulfil their goals. They seem to be cooperating
with both Team Aqua and Team Magma in the Hoenn region.

SNAGEM!

The evil organisation that Peter was originally a
member to, they steal other people’s PoKeMoN
for personal gain. Since they decided to cooperate
with Team Cipher, the organisation lost members
and eventually collapsed. There are no signs of Team
Snagem operating in Hoenn, however.

Age: 29

Bio: As a member of Team Cipher, Alex is usually
paired up with two grunts from either Team Magma
or Team Aqua, whom Alex can be rather impatient
with. His experience with chloroform, disguises and
explosions have caused our heroes quite some trouble.
On the other hand, Peter has proven himself a real
pain to Alex himself, as Peter has snagged quite
a few PoKeMoN from him.
