ter⋅ror⋅ist [ter-er-ist]
–noun
a person, usually a member of a group, who uses violence and/or threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.
I'm looking at you, London Greenpeace!
I've got nothing against eating right (God knows I should be), just legislation that interferes with business or the personal freedoms of citizens, which is exactly what laws like the bans on trans fat in some cities are. And I really, REALLY, can't stand it when people use scare tactics, violence, or misinformation to get others to think like they do. As far as I'm concerned, they're every bit the terrorists as the people we generally think of when we hear the word. -Posted on Nov 13, 2009 |
