403. The Dark Knight Rises vs. The Avengers

Yeah...on the IMDB message boards, the Avengers board and The Dark Knight Rises board have been at each other's throats...each believing their movie is superior.
Me being a comic book fan with no allegiance to Marvel or DC, I'm looking forward to The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man and I enjoyed The Avengers.
Yes, I prefer Batman and Spider-Man to The Avengers, but I don't see why it matters that I like The Avengers, too.
This comic was more about the frustration I've had at the stupid fighting over superiority.

I liked the Avengers, look forward to Batman, will see Spiderman because I have kids, and honestly could care less about who does better at the box office. We read the comics, they are about heroes, why are people being douche bags about it?
