I forgot to mention last time that a couple of people go the naming theme right. The first to get it was mapingstar.

The theme between the names Kay, Gretta and Jack is fairy tales.

Jack is obvious from Jack and the Beanstalk.

Key and Gretta (or Gerda in most translations) are the male and female protagonist of the story the Snow Queen, which is one of my absolute favorite fairy tales.
