I am very proud of the work on this page. This is the first time I've drawn sans a scan of the original artwork. This comic exists mostly as a chance for me to improve not only my artwork, but also design and layout. I would love to hear your feedback.
nice first page...appears to be chained in a dark room...chilc is calling for her mom and the mom is the woman in chains...right? the last image I would enlarge to take up the bottom of the screen more and ovelap the panels to make the dynamic of the page more active...but great start!
You have me intrigued, that's for sure. I think the layout is pretty good, depending on what you are going for. The amount of black space around the two boxes infers that she is in a large place. If that's not what you were going for, I would have made the black a little smaller. The art is great, and I like how your character is perched on the bottom of the page! Nicely done!
