EDDY! 

Age: 15

Bio: Born in New Bark Town, Eddy had always wanted
to have his own PoKeMoN since he was ten. However,
when his father left his mother to go make it big in Sinnoh,
Eddy's mother couldn't afford even PoKeBalls so Eddy
could catch a PoKeMoN. Recently, Eddy received his first
PoKeMoN from Professor Elm, it was a Chikorita. After
receiving his PoKeMoN, he met Crystal, and became her
friend and partner for traveling across Johto. Before
departing from New Bark Town he also became friends
with Duke, even though he made an extremely bad first
impression. Later, in Cherrygrove City, he received a
Scyther from an old man just for following him to his house.

Age: 16

Bio: As a new trainer who used to live in Blackthorn City,
Crystal is a bit moody sometimes. She tends to let
everyone know when she's having a bad day. She came
down to New Bark Town from Blackthorn City to get her
first PoKeMoN from Professor Elm. She didn't like Totodile
or Cyndaquil too much, so she asked the Professor for
something else. The Professor ended up giving her an
untamed Larvitar, which she gladly accepted despite the
risks involved. After getting her Larvitar, she challenged
Eddy to a PoKeMoN battle and easily defeated him due to
Larvitar's type advantage. Feeling guilty over crushing him,
she asked if he would like to join her on her journey across
Johto to become the PoKeMoN League Champion. He was
all for it, but had to tell his mother first. While exploring
New Bark Town waiting for Eddy to finish, she bumped
into Duke, who immediately challenged her to a PoKeMoN
Battle. In her battle, she realized Larvitar would not obey
her commands and barely won since Duke's PoKeMoN
wouldn't obey him either. For some reason, Eddy and
Duke recently have forgotten who she is.

Age: 16

Bio: As a mysterious trainer whose place of origin is currently
unknown, he was first found spying in on Professor Elm's Lab
and then entered it after Eddy and Crystal left. When he came
out he bumped into Crystal and challenged her to a PoKeMoN
Battle almost immediately. The PoKeMoN he got was a Sneasel,
but he soon found out it wouldn't obey him whatsoever, and he
ended up losing the battle because of that shortcoming. Feeling
ashamed for losing so miserably, he asked Crystal if he could
go with her on her journey. She was in a good mood since she
just won, so she kindly accepted Duke into her group. Duke
apparently has a connection to Team Rocket, but it is still
unknown why Team Rocket knows him. He disappeared after
Eddy and Crystal entered Route 30, and was found again
in New Bark Town, this time with a Cyndaquil as his partner.

Secondary Characters!
 

Age: ???

Bio: As a friend of Professor Elm and Professor Oak,
he discovers oddities about PoKeMoN and then reports
his findings to Professor Elm. His latest discovery, a
daycare couple had found a PoKeMoN holding an egg,
Mr. PoKeMoN thought this had to be a PoKeMoN Egg,
and asked the daycare couple if he could have it.
They allowed him to have it, and he took it back to
his house north of Cherrygrove City. He sent an
e-mail to Professor Elm telling him that he discovered
something incredible. Instead of seeing Elm though,
Eddy entered his house in Elm's place. Mr. PoKeMoN
gave the Egg to Eddy to take it back to Professor Elm.

Age: ???

Bio: As the legendary Professor from Pallet Town, Kanto,
he has a radio show in Goldenrod City in which he gives
 basic PoKeMoN info. While visiting Mr. PoKeMoN, he met
Eddy, who he saw had a rare PoKeMoN, Chikorita.
After noticing he treated the Chikorita with love and
respect or something like that and decided to give
him his brand new talking, touch screen PoKeDeX for
free and, upon Eddy's request, he gave him two more
for Crystal and Duke. After this, Professor Oak left
Mr. PoKeMoN's house and left for Goldenrod to
broadcast his radio show.

Villains!
 

TEAM
ROCKET!

Bio: An evil PoKeMoN organization that enjoys
stealing PoKeMoN and exploiting them for money.
Previous schemes they've done include trying
to steal fossils, selling stolen PoKeMoN at a Game
Corner, killing a Marowak and taking over
Saffron City. They were all defeated by some
kid three years ago though and were thought to
have disbanded, but now they have returned and
their eyes are now set on Johto.
