Otherjay

This is Mangrove. He grows trees out of his flesh. It's sort of a symbiotic relationship. Is he a tree growing from a man or a man growing a tree. The tree whispers tranquility but the man cries rage. It's a tortured existence and spells doom for any human within range of his grove.
This sketch isn't perfect. It took me three tries to get the grove coming out of him to look like this and I imagine it will take much more to match the image in my head. I picture him able to grow a tangle of branchs and roots to incredible sizes with vines ensnaring, pulling and strangling people. But the more the tree grows the more soothed the man becomes.
So, he's a super villain is what I'm trying to say. He's just not exactly black and white. Thanks to Legacy Hero for his input on my original attempt with this character.

I think I said it before, I wish I wood have thought of it.

Perhaps in the future, if you wanted to make him a hero again, he could possibly....
