I am WAY happier with this page than the previous one!

When these two get into a spat...I tell you what...it's like no holds barred!

The reference to Miranda's mother is rather convoluted. John and Emily Arturo were scientists at the Mosier facility before the experiment went under (It was a test to see if a self sustaining facility could be created...while it worked other forces forced its closure). Owed backpay, John and Emily agreed to take the facility in exchange for their wages, and made it their home.

When Miranda was six, she and her mother contracted a virus from the livestock...it killed her mother and nearly killed her. Because she was so young and so sick, she doesn't really remember her mom's death...and as a defense mechanism against the pain of the truth she made up a story that Emily left John and moved back to the city (and this is the story she first told Cabal).

John told Cabal the real reason behind Emily's absence in the family, but Miranda hasn't ever bought into the truth.

So that's what THAT jab was about.

It was a low blow, and Cabal knew it the minute it escaped his lips. He tends to hurt people when they get too close to his own insecurities!
