Nice! I remember my time in the mountains, and being told how to fend off bears. The trick is to appear larger than they are, so put on as many items as you can (backpacks, etc), make a lot of noise, and get into a large group.
I guess bears can't tell if a group of people is one being or a group of beings. Either way, assuming it's not sick or too hungry, it should get scared off.
I think the best thing about OH is that we really get to know some of these "stars" from other "shows". Whether in character or not, its makes the series just that - CHARACTER-driven.
