NSWL is written by Ed Power, a friend of mine who was later syndicated with a different artist by King Features. Yeah, I was rejected... KF wanted a "manga" style. If you like his writing, you should check out his comic now called "MY Cage" over in King Features land (and call you local newspaper to have them added!):
