The youngest child of the infamous Vesal family is as mysterious as the rest of them.
His calm and calculating nature makes it almost impossible to see behind his poker face.
He understood early on that showing emotions is a dangerous weakness; the ones who show their true colors first are bound to lose.
Nonetheless, he sometimes looses his cool when people don't act as he predicts, which makes him quite angry with himself.
Like it is to be expected for a member of the vesal family, his surgical skills are better than most of the expert doctors. It is still a secret as to how he got the "scars" on his face. |

Gerett is the captain of a group of soldiers who travelled to the village as guards for a certain VIP.
Incidentally, he was born in this same village and was good friends with the mayor a long time ago.
As Murphy's Law wills, shortly after his arrival the whole village becomes the playground of a ferocious monster and Gerett decides to do everything in his power to protect it and its people.
His greatest strenght and weakness at the same time is his selflessness. (SPOILER AHEAD) When he first encounters the beast he gets heavily injured, yet he tries to conceal his wounds in oder to play the part of a strong leader. Trivia: Gerett's name stems from the dutch name Gerret/Gerrit, but is written as the german word "gerettet", which means "saved". We'll have to wait and see whether he'll be a successful saviour or not. |

Despite his relative youth, Lucas is one of the best soldiers in the village.
But even though he is skilled and intelligent, his verdant hotheadedness often gets the best of him.
Since he was young he looked up to Gerett, (SPOILER AHEAD) the hero who was born in his home-village and became a royal soldier. Now that he got to know him, he is secretly disappointed to see a frail old man who prefers to talk rather than fight. |
