The first filler for National Dex that I ever made. It was made due to the fact that I found myself playing hours and hours of Counter-Strike with my brother (something we haven't done in forever. Fortunately, though, this idea for a custom in-game spray came to mind while I was playing. I just didn't know it would become filler for my comic!

Another filler showed up a month later, and this was it. I'm not all too sure about where it came from, but I found it necessary to make a "parody" of that "I eated your cookies" bit. Well... Surge would do it 'cause that's how he rolls.

This sketch was a test for some modifications that I made to my drawing style for Chip and Surge. It may not look very different at a glance, but I'll tell you that their paws are "blockier" and their hind legs are more rigid than any previous drawing of them had. I also figured I'd try and make Chip look a little more fierce than he actually is. It was also filler due to finals that week.

Another randomly done sketch. This... I don't know exactly. All I know is that I thought it was decent enough to upload for filler during my finals that week.

A filler I used before I flew out to Pittsburgh to let any potential new readers know that the comic would be inactive until February 18 of that year. It was one of two ideas I had for the comic, the other being a parody of the "Wheedle on the Needle" (if you don't know what that is, you're not from Seattle!)... I'm sure if you think about it, you'd know what it would have been like.
