Welcome into the depths of Antony's conscious...sprites! Yeah. Sprites. With thanks to NightHawk41, I have this sprites of Joe and Antony.
Super Pirate Jesus Christ almighty, this was HARD. I now take everything back about what I've said about sprites. Trying to do those mouths? Argh. Finding appropiate background? Argh. Finding good positions for them? ARGH. I'll try not to do sprites again.
This is the start of a new story arc, which is basically the introduction of two new characters. One is a good friend of mine, and the other is non existant in real life. So nyeh nyeh.
What's going on with this page you ask? The sprite bit is delving into how Ant thinks, or at least what he was thinking about when they got out of the bus. That's right, he's daydreaming, which you may not be able to tell as I didn't find any good effects for it.
In other news, my older sister, Jquang has joined DrunkDuck! Look out for her first ever web-published comic, Tide of Hope (name thought up by yours truely), which is made the same way I do Super Pirate Jesus. Go, now!
Yea, sprites can be hard. I don't see why you spent so much time on mouths, though. All you have to do is copy-paste an open mouth from another sprite and use it on the one you want to use. But yea, backgrounds are a real pain. They're fun when you have to rip them yourself though (playing videogames for a living= FTW).
Finding good positions- Partly my fault... Since the sprite sheets I gave you for Joe and Antony were only about 4 sprites each. Ah well. Spriting is fun.
It's the same for drawing comics with me, I always have trouble with them. Not because I'm a terrible artist, I think I'm pretty skilled in that area. If you get enough experience with sprites though, they should become a klinch... Is that a real word? Ah well.
