| User: Shade | | | I'm familiar with layer manipulation too, I can't draw very well but I'm quite good in regards to digital manipulation.
I'd say if I spent sometime playing with tools I could make something similar eventually, but It's still very well done and even if you do think it's simple. Sometimes the best effects are the simplest. -Posted on Sep 06, 2008 | | User: NPC_Girl | | | | really? pretty easy to me. but then again I learned how to manipulate layers when i was like 11. So I'm good at getting the effects i want from them. -Posted on Sep 05, 2008 | | User: Shade | | 5 | You say it's simple... but your explanation sounds exceedingly complicated to me and I do know what those tools you mentioned are.
It was done very well, I like it. -Posted on Sep 05, 2008 | | User: slimredninja | | 5 | | This page is really cool the lighting is amazing -Posted on Sep 04, 2008 | | User: beljanbobo | | 5 | the yaoi fangirl inside me made me happy :3
Wheeee Deme protecting Felix! -Posted on Sep 04, 2008 | | User: orannis | | | | Awww.... I wanted more funnies.... -Posted on Sep 04, 2008 | | User: NPC_Girl | | | QUOTE: Hmm.. the amulet makes him weak to other sorts of attacks, perhaps?
eme is physically weak. (because he is a mage) but he has a sword and he does know how to use it. which is probably more than most adventurers who rely on the combat system can say.
But deme isn't completely indestructible. if you wanted to hurt him, using physical attacks is the way to do it.
the only problem with that is
a) Deme is over 6 foot tall
b) he knows how to use a sword
c) he has magic
anyone who knows anything about fighting, will know it's not the best idea to attack someone whose taller than you as they hold an advantage of height. but a very good swordsman with a magic talisman of his own could probably very easily take Deme down.
So yeah. I know Deme seems all powerful sometimes. but he can be taken down, and has many times before now.
and as for the amulets one weakness.... well it's probably more obvious if you just think on it a little. it has nothing to do with magical disadvantage. it's not like a reflect shield, it does know the difference between enemy and ally spells. it's something so mind bogglingly simple that you probably wont think of it until it happens ;) -Posted on Sep 04, 2008 | | User: madcap | | 5 | -Posted on Sep 04, 2008 | | User: giovanni | | 5 | -Posted on Sep 04, 2008 | | User: norava | | 5 | | Kaboom Indeed :P -Posted on Sep 04, 2008 | | User: THKNN_NUL | | 5 | | wow... -Posted on Sep 04, 2008 | | User: Flup | | 5 | | Hmm.. the amulet makes him weak to other sorts of attacks, perhaps? -Posted on Sep 04, 2008 | | User: n_y_japlander | | 5 | | (OO) very beautiful page!!!! -Posted on Sep 04, 2008 |
