About the Comic
Origins: The comic is based on my characters on a roleplay site, Lilliumn's. The concept belongs to the site's owners, but the characters are mine.
The story itself was easy for me to come up with but hard for me to write as it later touches on things I prefer to avoid in my writing/art. But I won't say much more, wouldn't want to spoil it. ;)
Because the site it's based on, Lilliumn's is a elemenary-highschool school, I want to make this clear: More to Life is based in college. Not a college that exists, but a college nonetheless.
Settings: The library is based on the library at the school I currently attend (I'll say which after I graduate).
The Lounge is based on one of the dorm lounges at Duke (college/university thing).
Any forests/outdoors that are used are based mostly on those of connecticut, where I grew up.
The apartment is based on nothing in particular, and really doesn't have a blue print.
The Author: I go by Dragon or RDraconis, depending on the site (dragon's really common- as you probably know).
I'm in a highschool in USA- so you can guess at my age from that.
I've been seriously drawing since late '04/early '05 and have been drawing comics for as long as I remember.
More To Life isn't my first attempt at doing a comic strip, but it is the first I think I'll be able to finish.
