I dont really see that much of a difference here, the panels in this comic dont "connect" with each other that well, very toastmanish, for an example, look here:http://www.drunkduck.com/Gay_Blob/
I don't know if this is Toastman... He doesn't have an avatar, and the name is the only thing simular.
But, your bit mixing heavily, and since the background and sprites your using are so dark, they blend together, making things hard to see. Sonic and Donkey Kong... with Earthworm Jim?
Bit mixing, dude. Don't do that. It causes things to conflict. The speech bubbles are overly pixelated, and they look horrid. Try using the line tool to make the tails, that should take care of it.
