The Good |
| Mika Kurohitsuji |
Mika is your average girl. She goes to school, she hangs out with her friends, she's the daughter of a powerful Yakuza mob boss. Ok, so she has some problems. She's anti-social, depressive, skinny and pale, and all she wants is to be left alone.
But suddenly (due to a mix-up involving a drunk and an idiot) she's engaged to marry her English teacher. If things weren't bad enough, now she has to deal with a group of misfits who all want to be her friends!
What's a goth to do? |
| Sidney Burns |
Sid's yer average american. Loud, fat, boastful, and stupid. But he doesn't let that stop him from being the single most obnoxious man in Japan. He transferred to a the famous Shady Acres Academy in Tokyo, and immediately started to take over.
During one of his frequent drinking binges, he became engaged to Mika, his crimninally underage student. But the big hearted lug sees how his young fiance is suffering, and he's busting his butt to fix the problem.
Oh, and he breathes fire. We don't know why. |
| Kyoko Kiiroinu |
Kioko is Mika's best friend, whether Mika wants her to be or not. This tanned, blong bombshell is the polar opposite of her angsty friend. She's energetic, friendly, and totally weird. Cosplaying, singing, glomping random people; she's the type of person you expect at an anime convention, wearing cat ears and eating giant Pixie Styx.
Her dream is to start her own Teen Detective Agency, a passion she got while watching Police anime with her Detective mom. |
| Toshi "Weasle" Hiroshima |
The Weasle is the school genius. In an Academy made up of the rich and powerful, he is the only one who made it in on sheer scholastics alone. Of course, this also makes him the school target. The thick glasses and mechanical limbs don't make it any easier for him to fit in.
Why does he put up with it? Weez has been in love with Mika ever since they were kids. But because of his androgeny and general ignorability, Mika doesn't remember her childhood playmate. Undaunted by her indifferent attitude, he uses his technical skill to assist her from the sidelines. |
| Taro/Tara Akatora |
Taro Akatora is the heir to the Akatora Yakuza Clan. To end the ancient rivalry between the Akatora and Kurohitsuji clans, Taro was engaged to marry Mika. When the engagement was called off, Taro immediately flew back from America to confront Mika's new fiance.
Discovering that Mika is afraid of men, Taro disguises himself as his own Twin sister Tara. Now forced to crossdress during school hourse, Tara has to walk a difficult line between wooing his love Mika, and keeping his embarrassing secret from getting out.

| Yojimbo Chairobuta |
Jimbo is the school bully. Once the schools Iaido champion, he was a popular, egotistic rebel. Drinking, drugs, fast cars and fast women, none of these were unfamiliar to Jimbo. Until the accident...
Now, crippled and robbed of his trophy-winning 'Devil's Arm', Jimbo became moody and violent. He terrorizes the school and staff with his gang of cronies. |

| Coach Nariko |
Coach Nariko is the meanest gym teacher on three continents. With a full arsenal on assault weapons, explosives, sharp pointy things and a punch that can shatter rock, she keeps her students in a grip of fear. Or at least, that's what she's like. Honestly, most of the Shady Acres students have become so accustomed to Coach's attempts to murder them that they mostly laugh them off as 'cute'. This frustrates Coach to no end.
When Sid got the teaching job, he instantly latched onto her, being the only other english speaking person in school. He followed her like a puppy, and the two became drinking buddies. Coach still insists she hates the big goof. |
