Dang. That sucks. I know how you feel though. My house has legendary lightning attraction characteristics. We've experienced electrical meters literally blowing off the side of the house, in-ground telephone junctions flying through the air and landing in the street, dozens of fried electronics, and several other exploding things. Only one fire so far though, so I guess we are lucky on that. lol. After this happening three times, we decided to just get a whole home surge protector. Its a beast. That sucks...Never had that happen to me. Although when I was six the manhole outside my house was struck. I was watching too, cuz it was raining and I was bored, since my parent's wouldn't let me go outside. In hindsight, that was a good thing. -Posted on Nov 19, 2009
