SURPRISE! This page is in full color! ...now don't expect any more of these for a while (the penciling took an hour; the inking took 2 hours; and the coloring, effects and lettering took 4 hours)!
How's this for a cliffhanger?! You just thought we were on the way to a quick, easy resolution...but noooo...I thought, let's create a new being out of two of our main characters! I'll be honest, I was greatly influenced by a Star Trek Voyager episode titled Tuvix, where the Vulcan Lt. Tuvok was merged with the Talaxian cook/ambassador, Neelix.
Anyway, you won't have to wait long for Season 2.5 to start. I just wanted a logical break -- and I just love cliffhangers! Expect all to be resolved in Season 2.5...but maybe not the way you'd think. Heh heh!
In the meantime, the COVER CONTEST is still going on! I decided to have a contest to determine the cover for Mighty Dreadful Season 2! By now, you know the story and you know the characters. Here's my very simple requirements:
1. Cover must be in color (it's only 1 page - and it's ironic)!
2. Cover must be no more than 900 pixels wide. (no side-scrolling, okay?)
3. Cover should use more than one Warrior but can include the villains, too (Shan Y'qua, the Raggedy Warrior(s) or both -- or...bunnies.)
4. The comic is a Teen+ rated comic. Cover material should not be Mature or Adult.
Deadline is Sunday December 13th. You can send submissions as JPGs, GIFs or PNGs (no PDFs please) via email to mightydreadful@gmail.com and I will announce the winner that week. I'll be looking forward to seeing the submissions.

As far as the new personality created by a blended Dina and Kendra...that's already in the works (I've already scripted several pages of Season 2.5)! "Keena" might not be quite the person you'd expect her to be...
